Supportive and respectful

Big White Wall support networks are formed by people who share particular situations, concerns and issues.

Members are encouraged to focus on the quality of their online relationships rather than the quantity. Hence, members adopt behaviours that are supportive and non-competitive to create an environment in which everybody has the opportunity to explore their own – and each others’ - issues thoroughly. Supportive behaviours include asking open questions or sharing reflections and experiences to help others make their own choices rather than offering advice.

Members encourage one another to express themselves fully whilst taking responsibility in what they choose to share.
