Shall we have an armistace?

    Hi All

Recently many of us  have been expressing inhibition in using the site/ having the wobbles - not least myself who has felt deep regret at making a comment to an anonymous person who I later belived to be someone I care for deeply and that has left me feeling sorry on a daily basis. I was also  p**** odd with FC and  perhaps my comments contributed to her not using the site as much as she  might have wished.

I am wondering what wallers think of having an armitace - drawing a line under things, offering to remake friends with anyone we feel has turned away from us because we may have stung them/ hurt them by throughtless words and having a new start.

    What do you think?

    Love Harmony

    Hey Harmony,

I reckon that it sounds like a great idea - if we know we have hurt someone yes it seems like a good idea to try to return to what is a continuous relationship and not stay with any conflict.  I guess like all thing this will be much easier to do if it is managed through pm's as I think once it is on the Wall it is open for a buy in from everyone.  Sometimes this doesn't help to move on.

As for the wobbles - lots of them for me lately - but I am getting used to these times of vulnerability and fears and look I am even being fairly open about it - so that must be progress.  UMxxxxx

Oh Harmony, I swear I did not see this post until after my post tonight. Truth is I am feeling so down and drrrrrrrrrrr it took me ages to write. I have really tried to just stick to how I am feeling after tonight's sxxx. Bit worrying frankly. Please oh please - nobody see my post tonight as an extension of the epic. Same topic - but my feelings about tonight.

Support me in that I beg you, as you have elsewhere.

I am so sorry to hear you and others are feeling troubles here. I can share some of it. Not enjoyed any of the stuff. But it was our feelings. None of us want to hurt each other.

YES. An Eternal Armistice were being ourselves is a condition of membership, whilst striving to FEEL  the words of others at all times. Every Feeling and every word anyone has written on here is as valid as our own and always will be.

Peace, Love and comfort to you always Harmony

    HUGS

    Harmony - GREAT IDEA.

Without a doubt there has been an awful lot of posting in the last few days regarding feelings and while I can't say I enjoyed all of it, I did find it very interesting.

However, I think we've done it to death and it's time to move on.

The TA's will remain of course and I think could, and indeed should, serve as useful reminders to us in the future of just how easy it is to 'lose the plot'.

They also serve to illustrate very well, the ethos of the site and the people on it because although the discussions did get heated at times, there was always an overriding feeling coming through that no-one ever intended to offend anyone, and that's as it should be.

So, once more I think it's a great idea and if I have inadvertently offended anyone then I apologise completely and unreservedly.

    Onward and upward folks,

    swon
