I was thinking I need an avatar picture. Maybe, I don't know, a panther. Where would I find that? And the images people use for bricks, how does that work? I want all creative options open to me, but I'm just not all that tech savvy.

How about searching for 'panther' on Google and then clicking images. Save As... to you desktop or somewhere and then up load it on the My picture page in your account.
