It was so exciting at first, having a new group of friends who were all going to have babies around the same time. We talked every day during pregnancy and now that we have our babies all they want to do is meet up to talk about babies, babies, babies - they have no other topic of conversation.

I am SO BORED. Does it get any better? My husband doesn't want me to go back to work, but is this what life with a child is like? Might as well take my brain and deep fry it now. 

i remember meeting new people through work or taking a class and i almost didn't want to tell them i had a baby/young children because then the whole conversation shifted to "baby talk"
