I told my friend yesterday that I had lost a handbag that she had asked to borrow, when in fact I just didn't want her to borrow it!! Dont know why really, it just popped out.. she also has a bad habit of not returning things. BUt now I realise I can never wear the bag around her again - doh!

Yes I have. I was talking with my recently remarried ex and she asked me what I thought about her situation. I was going to be honest and tell her the right course of action for everyone involved, but just faked concern and laid one on rather than listen to the stupid response the truth would have gotten.
