Sunshine ... warm spring wind that's somewhere between a breeze and a tempest ... walking barefoot in a summer rain and stepping in all the puddles ... waterfalls ... holding a new baby (animals count) ... completing a design I'm really happy with ... wide open spaces with nothing to do ... falling asleep to the sounds of nature (even if it's a recording) ... this could go on forever.

This morning it was my cup of tea, very milky (I use powdered milk), sweet and strong - so good just had to have another!

This afternoon it is saying hello to my neighbours' cats, Cleo, then Niki (Tigger wasn't there today) and Zeno (sor of - cheeky kitty doesn't really go in for any touchy feely stuff).

*& hey, thrash, how's the not smoking anymore going?

That I actually gave up smoking 6 months ago - can't believe how easy it has been except for seven o'clock in the evening with that FIRST glass of wine - but eat something and the desire goes away.  So now I am happy living in my fatter frame and enjoying food.  Next battle - give up eating so much.... then....

Also that I gather summer will be arriving tomorrow afternoon - that makes me very happy...

Back in the Pacific NW my brother's hosted a HUGE musik awards show/ a first of its kind/ and there were close to 5,000 people in attendance. A lot of great musical performers/models/actors/and a great crowd.....in the other musik award programs a lot of people in the NW get left out....so, this first annual event was a huge success and it feels good knowing my family was a big part in making it all happen.....

Oh boy - for some reason I am way out of my depth today  - instead of feeling like I am me, I have been invaded by someone who is melting internally and the tears keep welling up in my eyes.

I have really struggling with sleep in the last few weeks - and last night when I woke with a start shortly after midnight my husband was there and started singing the "try not to get worried" song from JC superstar and I went back to sleep for another couple of hours - that's cause for a happier day.

My son woke this morning and said "I love you so much mum", one of my nieces rang me as she felt I would be struggling with having no mother to call on mother's day - god I wish I could move on from this - and my kids have smothered me with cuddles and love.

It is more precious because right now all I can do is try to keep it together and stop feeling like I am a cry baby.
