**** Friday Fun **** The A to Z of Marriage

OKAY, I know it's not quite Friday yet, well not in the UK anyway, but I'm not going to have time to do this later.

This week's fun spot continues the marriage theme, in honour of Zorro and picks up on another idea from Mebenji, good job there's no copyright on this stuff.

The challenge is to work your way through the alphabet and name something to do with getting married. You must do it without skipping a letter or doubling up (unless we go around twice).

So, I get to start with:   Aisle

    Have fun

Lurve, baby, lurve - love and marriage, love and marriage, they go together like a horse and carriage - you can't have one, you can't have none, without the other!  What song is that, anyway?

Oddly enough Jomo, it's called Love and Marriage and comes from the classic musical High Society.

Penguins.  If I were a wedding planner, I would always have Penguins, to add to the solemnity of the occasion.  I will be offended if you don't accept my offer of Penguins, because Penguins would improve marriage ceremonies no end, adding dignity and a bit of pomp and circumstance.  I stand by Penguins, I do.

    Placecards

    - in the shape of penguins?  By way of a compromise - although I do agree that penguins are perfect for a formal wedding - coming suitable attired and all of that - I wonder if they translate into other cultures well Jomo.

    Queues.

In England we queue for everything so why not a wedding?

Also, apologies to Jomo; Love and Marriage was by Sinatra but was not in High Society.

Tuxedo -- (not just for penguins, but for the groom, the bride and groom, the groom and groom, the bride and bride, all depending on the wedding -- we have legal same sex marriage here in Canada).

I thought this was meant to be about weddings!  The odd spot of speechmaking is in order but I think we should avoid putting the mockers of the dear old institution of marriage by including these -

I had better watch out or we will be having judical reviews and submissions come through next.
