Best and worst things about your partner

Swon got me thinking about whether my husband is a 'very desirable partner' and i guess he is, probably mostly to others.

The best thing about him is that he is really kind. The worst is that sometimes he acts like I don't exist.

    What about you and yours?

Have you talked to him about this?  His being really kind, and sometimes acting as if you don't exist doesn't kind of gel - maybe you could talk to him about this?

Cherry - if the worst thing about him is his bottom burps - then you truly do have a great prize - what's a little bad air between best friends, eh?

Best thing about my partner:  him being him

Hope you do not mind me nudging in on this one sparkey. I dont suppose ex partners count. Just had to reply to um's post........

WHAT! You dont like Bob Dylan Sister! Oh no, the end of a beautifull 'friendship'. I love the man. Strains of 'Its all over now baby blue' ringing in my ears. Weep, Weep.

Actually, I suppose his voice is an acquired taste. Like a very good bottle of Pinot Noir. OK I forgive you. As long as you adore Leonard Cohen! (Pushing it now I know)

Thanks Folks.... 'If you see her say hello' - Best ballad ever written.

(Brother Summer, I love Bob Dylan's music and lyrics - voice no - puts me on edge in the way of finger nails on a black board - I didn't get his background properly until the Scorsese film.  Leonard Cohen?  magic, beauty and wonder - thank goodness for YouTube and the people who load up the old clips.)

Redemption um, (Love Bob Marley too).

David Bowie had it right - 'Robert Zimmerman....with a voice like sand and glue'

    As for the other chap:

An Eskimo showed me a movie, he'd recently taken of you,

The poor man could hardly stop shivering, his lips and his fingers were blue,

I suppose that he froze when the wind took your clothes and I guess he just never got warm.

But to stand there so nice in your blizzard of ice, Oh please let me come in to the storm!

Once went to the 'shrine' on the island of Hydra where he wrote his first two albums - left a rose!

Again thank you all (sparkey) for your indulgence. But then again I suppose it is about Luuurve.
