Your brick story

These feelings aroused after Saturday night. One friend was organising the Gig, I had expected so much as it was 'My Friends Gig'. There was to be some checking at the entrance and the entrees' were to be the ones whose names was on the list... the thing that is bothering me is that, besides his busy schedule he could not do this much to only put my name on the list? Is he that forgetful? Or is he engrossed in the gains so much that 'I' do not matter?

Hello Hesus, and welcome to Big White Wall - sounds like you are feeling seriously disappointed by your friend. I wonder if your friend might have been quite nervous about the gig and in all of the preparations perhaps he just forgot - people just do sometimes without any sense that "you don't matter" or even being engrossed in the gains of the gig. Maybe it just shows that he needs to develop some better organisational skills to get it all pulled together?
Do you feel comfortable in just suggesting that you felt invisible to him by being left of the list and asking if maybe you could be able to help if he asked you?
