Your brick story

Working through an awful time in my life, piecing the past together into something I can understand, my creativity has become the most valuable channel for me to release. This work is a direct reference to the escape of me as a child rather than face what was infront of me. My safety, at that time, I found in a childhood story in which I could disappear and come to no harm

Thank you flashyrhetoric and thank you roze, Yes I am new here. I guess, feeling very alone with everything I'm trying to come to terms with at the moment, I have found an outlet here where I can release some of the pain. Feels rather selfish saying that, alas, I find nowhere else to be. Thank you for your kind words

I'm on here a lot and I'm always willing to listen =) We all have our things to deal with but sometimes its easier knowing someone else is there, whether you know them or not
