  Why are you dwelling in lonliness?? Are you doing some serious "in your own cave thinking"? or are you in hiding to heal some hurts? and you are wonderfully honest about hating to leave you comfort zone - I wish I was that honest sometimes - often I prefer to make up some feeble excuse - it often goes like this - "Oh no I'm just very distracted by work at the moment - once I finish this project I will be back - just need to keep focussed."

  We are funny animals aren't we. Hope you are taking good care and being nice to yourself. Um x

Of course, I'm not really making it up... but instead using my social anxiety as an excuse, when I know that REALLY I should be fighting it, and my want to stay in, should be more reason to get out.

  I'm dwelling in it, I guess, because though sometimes it's painful, I like it. I need it. I feel safe in it. Secure. All I've ever really wanted is to feel secure. It's almost too much to leave my house. That's terribly sad... but equally true. =\

  Well maybe it is a more honest excuse? Maybe this sounds odd - but don't fight it - just notice it is there and let it be without trying to pay it more attention than it deserves - this is my toddler tantrums approach - keep the toddler safe but don't feed it's emotions any more than necessary. Yes it is painful to feel like this - and it feels safe because you know it so well - but there are better feelings to feel safe in - but it is scary getting to be familiar enough with them to be comfortable in them also. Just be how you need to be for the time and ask people to come and be with you as you are.
