Your brick story

Trying to escape the reality of childhood trauma, the symbol of what kept me safe at that time, a favourite childhood book, becomes the metaphor that I attempt to destroy. The outcome, is to try and erase the memories that surface...alas, not possible

    I had a plush dog that kept me safe. Now I have meds and a therapist. The dog made more sense.

    I wish I could hug you.
