  I want my friends to hear me, but I know that I cannot talk to them, they don't understand, they just are now distant from me. I hate feeling like this, but to be honest, I've pretty much given up with trying

  What a beautiful brick!
  I know the feeling.
  But just try you know? Usually at first, it doesn't work. Its kind of like when your a baby and you have to learn to talk- it all comes out as gibberish. Fortunately as a baby you're really cute so everyone loves the gibberish :). Anyways, its the same thing here- just TRY to express your emotions, but don't expect the best results. It takes fine tuning and time.
  I'm saying this based on my own inability to talk to people when I really need to ask for help ;).
