  My life is in a downward spiral. Each day I pray for the release of death....my loneliness is crippling me and I see no way out. I am not an extrovert, so socializing is difficult. My ex is my only friend & I feel like a burden to her. I feel like I cannot lean to her b/c well she is my ex. This yr we would have been "married" 10 yrs and each day just gets harder for me to handle. I have tried to meet others, but even that didn't work out. I just don't know what to do or where to turn anymore.

  I felt very like this a year ago - so very much like this. You can never be burden to those that care for you. I lived with someone i thought was the love of my life (before my last ex) for 13 years - and it took me a long long time to get over the end of the relationship - even though it was my choice. I would still do anything for her - and your ex probably feels the same for you. How are you spending your days now? Turn here - we are listening and care very much that you work through this. I am going out now for an hour but then i will be back. THinking of you. love roze

  Oh goddess_m - your use of the word spiral made me think of both the Anthony and the Johnsons song called spiralling - listen to it. And something i wrote last year - here it is..Madness is no descent. It is an ascent – a spiralling upward search for god, soul, reunification. It is a swelling orchestra – a thousand plaintive strings holding a poignant lingering note. A Rothko. A Beckett. A Pinter. Swirling chaos – paused between creation and disintegration.
