  Dear ROMH, are you being a bit hard on yourself? Think of the future and your freedom - there is lots of time to work to make those dreams come true. In 1979 - I was 17 and in my last year of school - by about May I was beside myself trying to keep my cool knowing that in the following January I would have my freedom. For years I kept the calendar where I would cross off every day that I got closer to freedom. Sure some things were hard - especially as I was hopeless and cooking and pretty antisocial but always I was so glad that I was free and away from much of the stress and sadness that I had grown up with. Hang in there liberty does exist! love UM xx
