Your brick story

A mate of mine expressed that I might be struggling with a work thing because I let the feelings about what is happening to connect too closely with me. Try to be dispassionate about what is happening - to stand back and think not get so personally involved.

Well that will be a novel challenge for me - a new approach. I am on a pilot test

I think there are two things - caring about the job and getting the work done right - that is a good think and becoming involved emotionally in the work itself can be a bad thing - sometimes we all need to take a step back.
All very well saying this - I am not very good at it either! Wx

so do you think there is a difference in becoming emotionally involved and being passionate - I am trying to separate the distinctions - this is a bit of an unravelling project I think. UMx
