Your brick story

Does there need to be a point?

Sometimes it is okay to just navigate around what I am feeling without a need for a purpose or a point - not look for patterns or causes but just recognising that it is okay to look within the mood.

Just feeling a bit too much like I am filled with too much feeling and don't really know if I want to do anything with it right now.

Just wandering around in my mind.

Oh yes, that is very important to just let your mind wander around. It's a good way for it "organize" what's inside and to clear what is no longer necessary.

I think that is right - there does not need to be a 'point' - people sometimes get hung up on 'points' whereas Petunias simply bloom and die and bloom and die - spreading thoughtless beauty in their wake...

I guess it is part of becoming comfortable with ourselves - realising you don't HAVE TO do anything with any or all the feelings all the time, every time.... I know that is something I still struggle with.
But I must say, UM, those really prettily coloured Splodges do make it look a very nice place to just wander, like walking through a park, full of flowers and bird and butterflies...I hope it is this good for for you.
