  isn't this the nature of motherhood - missing is also about needing to know they are safe - does not mean you want to spend 24 hours a day with them. kids are demanding. there is too much guilt surrounding parenting. more important to focus on quality time.

  Guilt is too destructive. You can feel remorse about something that has happened but there is no need to punish yourself. Just stell yourself you'll try to do better. Guilt shackles you: remorse frees you.

  Children need to know that not everyone is happy all of the time - they need to know how to deal with someone that has something on their mind and is bad-tempered. Do you have something other than your children that worries you?
