Poised ready to fly

Reaching for sky

Beautiful feathers rainbow my soul

Perfection of form – harmonious whole

Each small part

Nature as art -

Sings of the wind under wing

And the freedom that flight will bring

Trembles on brink

Seeks for the link

To flight, to sky, and to freedom

Will rise like the wind of freedom

Will find his flight

Will fight the fight

That brings him to nest and to friendship

That brings him to rest and to kinship

Bird; rise above

Bird; fly on love

Know that your wings are your power

Know that your heart’s in full flower

I see that 'birds of a feather' are flocking round it already. With a warm breeze like this who knows, I may yet fly this perch before I fall off it......drrrr.!
