  I now know what the problem was - CHEESE!, Too much Cheese and not enough mouse-ish food, and the cord is not his cord...it is his tail and the 'ICKY' I picked off from underneath is.....

  Oh, poor Mousie!!!! He was constipated from all the Cheese, and so was so unhealthily SLOW!!!

  How about a gouse? Or a meek? I am sure neither of those have need of cheese. Both are computer illiterates that are indifferent to even the finest brie, stilton or jeerdammer. What say you square marbles? r xx

  Sounds like a wonderful little animal, scurrying round in the fields. I say we start a meekgouse protection society, and make impact statements to the press about how development in cheese-manufacturing areas will impact on meekgice habitats.

  OOO but I am addicted to cheese too - that's why I was so surprised to think my mouse had actually managed to get so much of cheese into him (from my stash) to become so constipated!

  Oh woe, what'll I do? Be on the wagon for my own cheese addiction? Go cold turkey? - that's more expensive than cheese, though better for me!

  Meekgouse do sound a lovely alternative. Do they eat nuts, or salt or like coffee, tea, eggs, square meals and marbles? Must be very careful when inviting live-in computer helpers.
