  You are being so thoughtful and maybe that will have to be enough? I am sure they appreciate your thoughts enormously but just don't see that you would like something in return - of course if you say something, it just wont be the same.

  When you do this, you spread kindess and joy in little envelopes - that you do not receive them back is sad, but not really something you can change - it is their loss that they do not see the joy they can give.

  Keep hanging in there - you are not alone here. I stopped to read this, and smiled at your use of the Hallmark logo - and I am glad that you send out messages and greetings - I do this also. People do not often think to send them back to me, but I know that they like to receive them.
