Your brick story

Fluorite, not jade. But still a pig of great beauty and soul - a pig of nobility and sweetness of nature. What joy did the craftsman feel, as he peeled the layers away to show the pig within? What satisfaction did he know, when the pig emerged, and polished up, to become such a thing of beauty. If he only made one such in his life, he has still made great beauty, and given great joy.

Are you a pig in Chinese Astrology or is it a general pig thing your have going?

I am married to a pig and my father was a pig. I love the way that chinese astrology regards pigs - I generally love pigs - good parenting skills too :) Thanks Jo UM xxx

Nah - I am a TIGER... GRRR. Hah ha - nothing less like a tiger have you ever seen. One of my sons is a water pig in Chinese astrology - which he says is better than ordinary pig - I dunno, they all tell me fibs, my kids...

O, how sweet of you to think so!
however, parenting skills? Me, I doubt that so much I never did.
    Ha ha ha! :)
Tigers would eat pigs too....we better watch out for that one UM...unless she is a vegetarian Tiger?!!?

Sigh. I am not a REAL tiger, peeps! And I am not a vegetarian, either... But you are not real pigs, so there. So we are all about even. My son is very special, a lamb, really - one of life's treasures, he is just so clever and amazing and funny and good [and bad!] all at once.

And isn't an Ox a Great Big Animal? Strong? Buggered if I am gonna hunt that...

& me? I think this hunk of flesh is getting too old and this little kittly has not enough exercise, so has lost too much muscle, and gained too much fat to be good eating- too tough. Should've come after me when I was young, more active and skinny!
I'm not sure what there is out there for a not so real tiger to eat, if not eating not so real oxen or not so real pigs.

Not-so-real Tigers eat chocolate, hot chips with roasted garlic aoli, black jelly beans, anything anyone else cooks that is not offal and does not have FUNGUS in it - eek! - not the mushrooms, not the mushrooms - are you a Chinese Pig, Mebenji?

I hope it is not all mixed together before it reaches your stomach!

Me born USA, live OZ, but according to the books I read long ago, born in year of Pig. (what kind of Pig, I don't know - those crappy books didn't go into that).

& not into offal, not much into fungus either. (if it is cut up into minuscule pieces and no one tells me....)

My brother used to pick the tiny bits of mushroom out of cream of mushroom soup! I'm not quite that odd - I just don't get that soup.

Aren't there some kind of pigs that sniff out that gross looking fungus called Truffles just 'cause they like them (so humans exploit the pigs natural taste for Truffles)? Or am I totally in fantasy land?

  • 11/06/2008 @ 22:54 Jomo said
    Jomo

Absolutely right, you are - they do use pigs to seek out truffles - which are disgusting - and also dogs called truffle-hounds.

Which means that Bear now owes two grovels to the majority of Aussies, because he has slandered us, by saying only the minority are bonkers.
If I were in your geographical region, sir, I would demand satisfaction - such as Coffee and cake, or fish and chips, or - a pint of that warm stuff you call beer...
    ha ha

Does this mean I ought to more than reconsider his prostrtate position? Shall we have him swab the poop deck just to give those seagulls something to poop on, seeing as they don't, as you say, poop on the poop decks?

Aye aye, Cap'n! Trim the mizzen sail, set the sheets to full, aye, and away we go!

Oh. And weigh anchor, first, I think, 'cause that would be like leaving the brakes on, wouldn't it?

    About 50lbs isn't it?
Shouldn't we make the beds and set the tables? Or is it set the tables and then make the beds?
Or is that another position to fill?

Beds? Don't sailors sleep in Hammocks any more? Is that giving my real age away?
Set the tables? What about all the little penguins who are rushing around giving us individual trays? Have we 'crossed universes' and got lost in space?
    Warning, Will Robinson, warning!

Who ever heard of a Darlek being knocked off by wax?

If'n we wax the floor, the little Dalek wheels will just spin round and round and round and ha ha we will win.
    Simple.
Anything is possible with quantum mechanics.
Anyway, maybe nobody even tried hot wax on a Dalek before, so we will be pushing the frontiers of science - which is always a Good Thing.
