It looks like this puppy is kissing the other puppy and putting his paw in his mates mouth.

Whatever is behind the action - the puppies don't look like they are enemies. sometimes friends say and do things without really understanding what the impact will be. It is different when someone sets out to hurt us - that is intentional. There's a difference in this - sure both hurt - but one is based on wanting to hurt and the other one is just not knowing what does hurt.

Understanding who we are and what is important to our friends is part of a long journey together and it doesn't happen without effort on both sides. If we want to be friends - if we really want that relationship to develop then sometimes we need to ask if the person or people are important enough to us to tell them about how we are hurt. If we don't do this we are really deciding not to be friends - and that is okay but not if we are really wanting to develop a friendship. Every good thing that we build in our lives brings responsibilities with it.

I promise that no matter what happens I will always be brave enough to tell you because you are important to me and I want you to always feel like you can tell me. :)
