Tried and tested,
I have succeeded.
Drug though Hell and back,
I am scorched, only a bit.
Heart and body
Scarred by battles,
Yet, I am still alive.
Temptation,
No longer so tempting;
Enticement,
No longer so enticing...
Only a bit addicted to darkness;
I continue to survive.
Through the crucibles
I have come,
Gracefully, and then not so...
And I am here.
And you are here.
And now I know
That my pain has purpose.
