  Sometimes it feels like there's no way out other than death. The thought of dying, of ending that terrible cycle of pain and disappointment, brings so much comfort.

  But think about this: If you die, that's it. No more chances to change things. You lose all the work you've already put into surviving. Death is not the answer. Fighting is so hard, especially if you don't have much faith left to fight with.

  Hold the ones who love you close. Let them support you. You don't have to fight alone. If you want, you can message me. I'm here for you.

  A thought - Focus on the years ahead and when you leave have spent this year having a good plan of what you are going to pursue in your life. then the time will feel like it is useful and a bridge between now and then. :) ant

  it comes and goes, it often just depends on how much time i spend outside of my room or the mood my communist grandmother is in. but what you said makes me feel so much better and while it doesn't take th urge away it keeps it from getting as bad.

  I don't think the urge ever really goes away. You have to find something to believe in so that you can fight it better. My girlfriend helps me so much- she's dealing well with her urges, and it inspires me. Of course, there are still days... Just hang in there. Things really DO get better. ^-^

  Yea, I think the support I get from people on here helps out a lot. There are people in my life that help out as well and sometimes the fact of knowing how much it would hurt them is what keeps me going but I just recently lost the comfort and trust of so many people that I thought were my real friends and I've practically had to start all over again. I've dedicated so much to them and now they just kind of leave me because I've learned that I'm not the metalhead they are. I'm taking all honors classes this year and have dedicated my time to the one AP class I have as well as being on yearbook staff, when I expected them to support me the most is when they all backed down and let their true colors show.

  I've had friends like that before. They really suck. It doesn't help the whole cutting situation. You find out who your friends are, so the saying goes. The Wall is a wonderful help. Everyone here is so awesome. I'm here for you all the time, just so you know. ^-^

  Yea, you find people that you think you can really count on and to me it was the people I least expected that stuck around for me. I wish I could bake everyone on here a huge cake or... well...cookies would be better, my cakes are awful. lol But there's just so much support on here, it's truly amazing to learn that some people are there to help even though they may not know you or have never met you... it's really cool.
