  Well, I just went camping for a week in Montana... Bozeman or Missoula seem equally appealing right now.

  The catch is, my partner has another year left of college, in this dumpy, post-industrial town of ours. It wouldn't be worth it to me to head to greener pastures without him.

  Do you have a dream getaway location?

  Hey, well yes I do but I live in Australia so my idea of escape is more likely to be one of our undeveloped coastal strips on the east coast. I love the way our rough bush goes all the way to the beaches - and in a couple of places there are kangaroos who hop around on the beach which is pretty funny. My other favourite place is our in the north west of NSW - a place called Coonabaraban - and there is a group of hill called the Warrumbungles. There' nothing out there - just bush but a great place to camp - it has a nuclear powered satellite out there as it is one of the darkest areas near civilization as there are no towns to reflect lights into the sky. But my real favourite is the capital of an East Malaysian State - Kuching. It a regional city but I have been there three times and I am a bit taken by it. I love the jungles and the heat and the people.

  We just don't seem to get enough time to discover all of the places that we could use to escape to! UM
