  He was lying to me about a lot of things, and I found out he started seeing someone else while we were still together.

  6 months. So it wasn't too long, just long enough to hurt really bad. I'd rather not say all the details about the lies, but it has resulted in him going to jail for a year. I know it's really good that I got away from that, but it still hurts some.

  Oh my goodness that sounds like a really really tough situation to live through. Some times i think if we have really loved someone - and given it was your first - that we need to feel the pain. And to express it. That is the only way that we can begin to heal.
