Your brick story

I can't get my head past thinking that I just don't get the purpose of why we are. Is it really just random? I don't believe in omnipotent gods - I don't believe in intelligent design. Are we here because of random decision making. What can I make of this to make it worthwhile? Do I really care? Take away the people I love and I am lost now - so what for the future - so what for everything. Hardly worth the effort if their isn't a point. I don't want to be part of a fraud.

Hey UM, I always take life for what it is - neither a grand design nor a fraud and I find it kind of liberating. I know that it's up to me - that I need to come out of it at the end feeling that I did OK.
I know that sometimes the outside, things beyond your control, can throw you a curve ball - and I guess we have to deal with it in our own way ....

I wish I could get a sense that life without a design or plan was liberating - I am just so caught on what is the point or purpose. I feel okay about the way I contribute to the world but the sense of lacking purpose or understanding a braoder picture really taunts me.
