Oh gosh - that is a great question to bother your mind. Are you really very comfortable in the mud - or is it the safety of what you know compared to something else that might be available to you?

I know we all seem to ask you questions - but please let me know if there is something that you think that I or someone can help with. Take care UM xx

Have you ever made a major change? I find it quite scary?

One step is the first step in any journey. Small steps can help build small changes that can lead to big changes,if you wish them too. Sometimes small changes can make big differences.

Whan I start emptying cupboards into black bin liners, I know that there change afoot.

Well yeah - I have made big changes but the scariest one involved trying to find me in the middle of all of the stuff I was doing. I have always used work and working for approval to hide behind and I still want to work and be a great contributor but I don't want to hide behind it - this is harder than any other thing I have done. I can move thousands of kilometers away from where I started, I can work in other countries, I can change jobs with general flexibility, I can give up one career and find another - almost too easily, I can give up that one for motherhood - but can I be with myself and stop trying to be what I feel other people want of me - no!. But I haven't given up yet. And I resigned from my current job on Friday and I am starting a new job next month - I am nervous but not scared. I am nervous because I really need to get the balance right this time.

You will get there - but do it in increments that you feel safe about - bite sized pieces.

If you could make one and only one change in the next 6 months what would it be?
    Love UM xx

    Hi pixel,
Have you ever read ' The elephant and the twig; by Geoff Thomspson?
It basically writes of how baby elephants in india are trained to stay put, through believe that they cannot move when a twig is attatched to thier trunk.. from babies a rope is attatched to their trunk and tied to a tree .. they cannot run while attached as they are not strong enough to break free ..as they grow the tree becomes smaller but the elephant still believes they cannot run , the tree becomes a log and eventually a twig , the trainer will keep a twig attatched to the trunk, the elephant still believes it cannot run... the moral of this is that we as people are predisposed to patterns that cause us to fear change .. like the elephant we believe we cannot move .. but does the twig or as in your brick the mud really hold us back ? Fear of the unknown can be exciting scary exhilirating but if you dont take a peek or at least try to move ..your'll never know !!!
    Good luck Cherryxx
