  We actually have this bit where we say that we hate each other. We obviously don't, it's just sort of a way around it. Anyway, I said it. He didn't say it back, directly, but it was still a favorable response. At any rate, I'm just glad he knows how I feel, even if he's not quite ready to reciprocate.

  Hooray! That was good that you told him how you feel - even if it was hard. We can spend so much time wondering I'm sure you must feel lighter for having said it. And yes our feelings are our own responsibility and you needed to say it and at least that part is clear between the two of you. It's just so hard for some people to say. :) UMxx
