  Hello TC - I think you are new here, Welcome.

  We all get scared sometimes - especially in relationships as they can have profound impacts on who we are and sense changes within us. I sounds like you feel totally responsible though - could that be absolutely true?

  I feel very responsible. My fears from past hurts got in the way. I reacted poorly. He said he could handle it. But, I felt like he was pulling away and/or punishing me afterward. After a couple weeks of trying my best to give him time to digest it and to have his own space, I felt that the best course was to let him pursue his own way. I felt I had lost him already and let him go.

  I'm doing my best to learn from the situation. I miss him a lot, still. Doing my best to move on!

  He was sweet, understanding, and calm. He had handled some rough times of his own and said he could understand what I was going through. We never had the weird or awkward silences when we talked. Whatever "it" is, it was there. /sigh/

  We weren't together very long, but the connection we had was pretty intense. That's the hardest thing to get over--the connection.

  Hello TheCookie. That's a hard experience though isn't it - he wasn't able to handle things even though you and he thought he could. You were right in wanting to tell him about how you feel and honesty is always best. Hopefully next time you will be able to be open and honest - I really hope so. Big hug. Wx

  I've told the guys I've been seeing since that I have trust/emotional issues. They seem cool about it, but I'm not sure if they'll be able to handle the ups and downs. Though, I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
