Your brick story

This is from Nothing Will Die by Alfred Tennyson. This morning i walked into the living room to hear my child reading this out aloud to herself from a book of my poetry. I just looked at her when she finished and turned to see me there - she knew. She said 'This book is mine now Mummy isn't it?'. That and all else my love - that and all else.

The person who she is just blows me away. She is so much herself - funny, quick, imaginative, curious, kind, generous, wise. I have so much respect for her UM. She is the greatest gift in my life and i will treasure that gift always and encourage and feel proud of whatever she is and becomes. Here is to hearts that understand the importance of growing. Rxxx

Thanks Benj. We had a really special couple of hours together this evening. Sometimes lately i have felt bad - like she has to go to breakfast club tomorrow before school and stay over with a friend tomorrow night (so that i can just go have some fun) - so times like that morning and this evening are really special!
