Your brick story

Luckily for me I live alone, otherwise someone would have tuned mad with me listening again and again that song.

It's been something like fifteen years since the last time I've heard it, and almost twenty since my last holidays at Waikiki, but still have great memories linked to both of these.

Singing along Happy Hawaii also helped to cheer me up a bit.

I don't think I know this song - but know what it is like having a song that makes me feel a bit better - I listen on ear phones - probably because I know I could drive others mad with my music on repeat.

It's a song by a famous Swedish band. You can hear it on YouTube and see the cartoon that was made for it.

I only know one famous Swedish Band. In fact I imagine the world thinks there is only one Swedish Band. Is it 'that' famous Swedish band, or am I being terribly populist naff in the face of European contemporary culture.
Whenever I hear S.O.S I am on the beach in Scheveningen, Netherlands - Mid 70s Hippydom. Great time.
Heard it there first as it came out there before it did in the UK. Hmm, just like me in fact. Not thought of that. No wonder I remember it.

Good grief - but Australia is the international home of ABBA - how could their possibly be a song of theirs that wasn't a hit here - and I had thought that each was etched on my brain permanently.
