Your brick story

my best friend who i've been in love with for well over 10 years now asked me to move-in with him in phoenix. i went out there to apply for jobs after i lost my job in vegas and while i was there i got so depressed because i didnt like it there.. thought it was ugly, i didnt have any friends or know where anything was. it makes me sad that he's finally where i've been for years now and i can't follow through because i dont want to be depressed.

It is good that you recognise that you need to feel good in an environment in order to feel good in a relationship - i think your decision wise however painful. Any chance he would move to be with you?

i keep trying and hoping that he will apply to school here, move out here, etc. its closer to a lot of things back home for him. while neither of us home much, it would be easier because as it is we travel together when we do go home. i hope that one day he realizes things and decides to move out here, but im not going to hold me breath at the same time because it may not be right for him.
