Your brick story

Only a few days before his suicide, my son and I were riding in a car when he screamed "stop, stop!" I did, thinking something was wrong - he jumped out - me too... he sat on the front of the car, crying "It's so beautiful!" As I followed his pointing finger, I saw the biggest rainbow I've ever seen. For years following his death, I saw a rainbow almost every day - I knew he was with me. Then, one day, they were gone - I knew he'd "traveled on" going and doing what it was he needed to do. My mom's fav song was "Somewhere over the Rainbow".... funny how those two shared that.... I miss you both so much - but I know we'll be together again one day. Until then..... I look to the rainbows.... funny - the 10 yr anniversary of David's death is today.... and it's raining.

lost, I am so pleased that you were able to drop by today of all days. And my heart goes out to you as you mark 10 years. It's a lovely story about the rainbow ... and it's good that you can share it.

And this brick has made me cry - and there is so much sun in your words - that i am sure that together they will make a rainbow. From now on whenever i see a rainbow - way up high - i will think of you and David and your other son who wants to capture his family in rainbow coloured words. And in this David has made us all stop and be with him and you today. Much love roze

Hi maw you should know who this is I hope you are doing ok because I know how life has been for you and I remember you and I at Grandmas a few days after her funeral and we sang and played over the Rain bow on the organ she was an awsome women and I didn't know David but I know your other 2 sons and so I know David was special I am thinking of you always and when all the world is a hopeless jumble and the raindrops tumble all around, heaven opens a magic lane. When all the clouds darken up the skyway there's a rainbow highway to be found leading from your window pane to a place behind the sun just a step beyond the rain some where over the Rainbow I love you and remember your never alone or without a friend because you always have God or and Angel out there looking out for you and thinking about you love ya and take care
