  My best friend of over ten years is a really good person. But sometimes it's like she resents me for my problems. But she always manages to point out my cutting scars "was that the cat or YOU again" She knows damn well its me and i try to hide them but sometimes I get too warm and have to take off my jacket. Now I'm self conscious around her.

  Do you feel she is scared by your scars? Can you really talk with her - and help her understand the pain that lies beneath them? Rx
