  they sometimes feel relevant to me, when i'm feeling particularly sad. i do sometimes feel like i'm constantly trying to 'fix broken pieces of my old life', but sometimes i feel like i'm being too melodramatic to myself, or at least making it a bigger deal in my head than it really is. i don't know....

  Can you say something more about what the broken pieces of your old life are? Because these lyrics also suggest that you are wishing to move on - or that something new is waiting or present for you? Sometimes we just have to let go and move on. Rx

  my old life just being when i used to be happy, i guess the in-between was when i was at my worst, and the piecing it back together is now that i'm older, and no longer at my worst, but still not 'good', trying to find a way back to happiness. it isn't really working.

  Yes sometimes it is just not possible to back track - well I couldn't work it out. It feels like I have to build a new way to get to a happy place in myself. It is a tough job. Sometimes signs of hope and progress seem so far apart and I wonder if I have any direction - and then something small will happen and it gives me hope, Is there something you do that you feel is working - something that can make you feel a little better? UM x
