  Hey brittt2, I guess people see you as the happy friend because that's who you usually are. Have you got a special friend who you can tell that you are feeling really sad and ask if you can talk to them about it? I know that some of my friends are just crap at dealing with people who are sad or low - it isn't what they feel comfortable doing - or they think that I expect them to have all the answers. It helps if I explain I just want to be listened to and not for them to fix me or magically make me happy but just to be with me. Um xx

  It sounds as if you are one of those people that spread light to others and yet feel less able to let people know when you are down. As UM says, some folks just don't know what to do or say when a friend is sad. And yes people do struggle when you are wearing a different face to the usual one. Is there anyone that you are closer to that you feel able to talk differently with? Rxx
