Some aren’t ready to use their voice just yet to talk about their mental health – and that’s ok. Opening up and sharing takes a lot of courage so we want to make sure the student community has an alternative space to express what they’re going through without fear or judgement.
We’ve teamed up with 48 institutions across the UK to provide support to over 800,000 students and staff members, supporting over 35,000 students since January 2013!
With our service, students can explore how their feeling in an anonymous environment, sharing their experiences with a supportive online community, which is available 24/7.
We’re using our voice this University Mental Health Day to shout far and wide to all students, that you’re not alone and there are others going through similar experiences – keep connected and find your support networks.
“Big White Wall was my fall back, so I started using it just before I left the family home… like I had a friend in place for when i moved in”
